Carlee & Jon, we cannot thank you enough for bringing us along this little adventure in Charleston, SC to capture your elopement!
It was truly an amazing day celebrating & capturing this precious couple! We laughed so hard with these two all day long and together, made the best out of an unexpected rainy forecast! Just like we tell all of our couples who have bad weather looming in their forecast, “at the end of the day you’ll be married to the one you love– and that’s truly all that matters!”
To all of you lovely couples planning their weddings right now: remember, you cannot control the weather forecast, but you CAN control the atmosphere your wedding day will carry! If you are focused on having fun no matter what gets thrown your way, (…and we can speak on this topic with experience, since we are the ones who had a literal TREE fall ON OUR CEREMONY… haha!) you will have the best memories to reflect back on!
Carlee & Jon stayed at a super cool hotel, The Dewberry, then ran off to the beautiful Magnolia Plantation for a short, but sweet ceremony! We caught a lucky 2 minute window where the rain stopped so we could snap a few shots under those iconic southern oak trees, then let these newlyweds end their night on the famous Rainbow Row, and dinner at Magnolia’s.
